A DAY OF IDEAS AT EVCOMFERENCE 2024

With the launch of its annual conference, EVCOM anticipates a day of “ideas, inspiration and imagination.”

Set to take place on 22nd April at RD Studios, London, this year's EVCOMference will be focusing on three key areas: harnessing tech, business solutions and building a better industry. EVCOM executive director, Claire Fennelow, anticipates a day imbued with “ideas, inspiration and imagination.”

Additional topics which will be broached at the conference include virtual production and AI, preparing for growth and maintaining a hybrid workforce, neurodiversity and apprenticeships. Opening the event will be keynote strategist Kevin Chesters, exploring what businesses, brands and teams can learn from studying gangs.

Later in the day, screenwriter, author and artist Lucy van Smit will be discussing freedom, practice and neuroscience.

Fennelow says: “This year we wanted to do something different, get people talking, start conversations. We’ve lined up some fantastic speakers and facilitators across the key topics facing the film and events industries today.”

Other speakers include Amos Eretusi from The Kusp, James Simpkins from 2Heads, Anna Green from Broadsword and Barnaby Cook from Studio Yes, among others.
