Global restructuring simplifies Havas brand

Havas_2.pngHavas Worldwide has rebranded Euro RSCG PR as Havas PR as part of a mass global rebranding to simplify its structure. However, Havas, the parent company, is still a separate entity from Havas Worldwide.

Havas Worldwide is now comprised of Havas Media and Havas Creative. Havas PR sits under the Havas Creative branch. Its UK outpost will become Havas PR UK. However, some subsidiaries, including Cake, Abernathy MacGregor and Maitland will retain their brand identities while sitting under the Havas umbrella.

Euro RSCG, itself the fifth-largest global agency, came into existence after a 1991 merger between Eurocom and RSCG and has 233 offices around the world.

MD of Havas PR UK, Brian Beech, says, “We are the only communications group with a unibrand structure and approach which makes life easier for our clients. And there are other benefits too - our new name is easier to say; easier to write; and easier to remember!”

The company, which represents some of the world’s biggest brands, is now one of the largest integrated marketing and communications agencies in the world.
