|AMEC award winners revealed|

The winners of the AMEC Global Communication Effectiveness Awards 2012 were announced tonight at a ceremony in Dublin. SocialEyez (Media Watch), took home the night’s international grand prix, for their work with Etisalat UAE, with Kantar Media UK winning platinum for Drinkaware.
The AMEC Awards celebrate exceptional work in communication research, measurement and evaluation across the globe, and provide a continuation of the organisation’s strategy to influence international change for the benefit of the communications research industry. They took place at the historic Guinness Storehouse in Dublin, following the second day of the 4th European Summit on Measurement held by AMEC.
No awards were held in 2011, whilst AMEC reassessed how to make its Awards truly significant on an international stage – an aim upheld by the international winners. Kantar Media’s work with the French Biomedicine Agency won Gold in Best Use of Communication Management: Public Sector, while 360m (A Sentia Media Company) won in Business-to-Business for Dairy Australia.
Other winners came from Singapore, Ireland, Sweden and Italy, providing a true showcase for the best international work in AMEC’s field. The Young Professional of the Year Award went to Dr Kate Greenwood, from 360m, but all the entrants were highly praised by the judges.
Communicate was a media partner at the AMEC Global Communication Effectiveness Awards 2012.
