Lissted_logo.jpgAn innovative web app aiding comms professionals in Twitter media monitoring is now live.

Lissted, created by UK online press release distributors, RealWire, is a new tool aiding Twitter users to find journalists and media professionals, listen to relevant media conversations and monitor mentions of topics, brands or people.

It showcases the Twitter profiles of over 10,000 journalists, media professionals and outlets and uses information from each tailored account to stream and index tweets and to monitor conversations for subject, content and links.

Adam Parker, chief executive of RealWire, says: “It is now the case that news not only breaks on Twitter, but it is also actively, and sometimes robustly, discussed and commented on by members of the media.

“We built Lissted as a comprehensive resource for the PR, marketing and media communities to engage with and discover relevant people and conversations on Twitter in the most efficient way possible.”

The application, which has been developed over the past year, streams around 100,000 tweets every day.
