Europe celebrates best in corporate sponsorship

award_1.jpgAviva, Barclays, Nintendo, UniCredit, and Telefónica were amongst the winners at the 2011 ESA European Sponsorship Awards in Amsterdam last night.
 
The Awards Ceremony was hosted by BBC sports news presenter, Rob Bonnet, and ESA chairman, Karen Earl and was held as part of the annual two-day European sponsorship conference, Future Sponsorship.
 
The annual awards which celebrate sponsorship excellence across Europe received entries from 10 European countries this year. There were two new categories for 2011: Business to Consumer – Media, for which the Nintendo Telegraph campaign received the trophy, and the Rights Holder Award won by The Lawn Tennis Association.
