Compatibility, the leading IT services supplier to businesses in the South-East has won an on-going contract to upgrade, supply and support IT systems for Labtech International, the Ringmer-based provider of innovative, high quality products and services to the life-sciences community.

Labtech, which operates both in the UK and France, is seeking to drive improvements in productivity and efficiency through a root and branch review and upgrading of its IT systems. The move comes following a period of sustained business growth and seeks to enable the company to position itself for further development in the future.
Compatibility has specified a backbone for the company which will radically improve communication within the business and with remote connections, both at home and abroad. At the heart of the new system will be a centralised virtual server which will be configured to support email, domain control, user profiles and both local and French databases. New switches will be installed to improve internal network speed and a full, secure back-up solution of the entire system is included in the contract.
