As a result of this growth, theEword increased its headcount to 21 members of staff, including the hiring of experienced marketing experts and two new apprentices. To facilitate the predicted growth of business in 2012, the management team has been restructured, with the current managing director, Al Mackin, taking on the role of chief executive officer. Al’s new role will involve taking a strategic approach to the company’s business development plan, helping to identity and support future growth opportunities.
Current general manager, Daniel Nolan, will become MD, overseeing the day-to-day running of the agency. “Daniel Nolan has been an outstanding general manager, and with his knowledge of the industry and his experience, I’m confident that he’ll continue to help us drive the company forwards."
