Retaining top talent is a huge factor in business success.  High rates of employee attrition damage business at many levels from the most obvious to the subtle.  As we begin to emerge from recession, the fight for talent at all levels will recommence in earnest.  Companies will face increasing pressure not only to hold on to their existing talent, but also to attract and recruit new staff who will be a fundamental part of their growth plans.   This training course will give practical advice on how to retain talent: the most effective recruitment strategies including how to maximise social media techniques, and effective induction programmes.

About the trainer

Gill Hardy has over 20 years senior public relations experience gained in both consultancy and in-house positions.  During this time, Gill built large and successful teams with all the inherent talent retention and attraction issues.  Over the past five years, Gill has augmented this knowledge with experience gained as a founding partner of a specialist executive search business that focuses solely on senior PR and communications roles.  In this capacity Gill engages regularly with PR practitioners and organisations, and has gained a deep understanding of the issues that face both candidates and employers.  This mix of experience gives Gill a unique insight into the recruitment process from the employer, employee and third party perspective.

Gill is also a trustee of the charity Target Ovarian Cancer
