The Investor Relations Society (IR Society) has been working to establish itself as the champion of professional standards within the investor relations community for over 25 years. It has raised awareness of investor relations among companies and market participants operating in the UK, continental Europe and beyond. In the current climate of increasing financial regulation, global integration and corporate uncertainty, it has remained focused on this goal.

Founded in 1980, the Investor Relations Society is Europe’s leading professional body for investor relations practitioners. It has almost 600 members drawn from listed companies and consultancies, including around 80% of the FTSE 100, and a growing number of smaller companies. It also has members from across Europe, Asia and America.
